SEVENTY-NINE/ spring target haul

I went a bit nuts today in Target, I'm still not really used to having that store easily accessible so when I happen to go in I buy a ton. Many Americans are probably going to laugh at me when they read this post, but I really don't care. It is still such a novelty for me and when I enter the doors it is as if I'm transported to the United States. (I would always make a point to pop in while cross border shopping)

Although their prices on some items, such as food and the like, aren't very competitive, I find their prices on makeup to be amazing. For example, the mascara that I have been buying for years is only $4.99 at Target, where as it is at Shoppers for about $12.99. That's a pretty big difference.

I bought a ton of makeup brushes, they were just too cute to pass up. I absolutely love the brand Sonia Kashuk and these limited edition makeup brushes were to die for. The handles are a super cute print and the brushes themselves are super soft. I was in the market for new brushes and everything was just so right about them. I picked up a few boring things like shampoo, tea (not pictured), BB Cream, ect ect but the highlight to every trip to Target for me is the face wash. I know that sounds so lame but the 'Best Face Forward' face wash by Formula 10.0.6 is my absolute favourite - it leaves my face feeling so clean and fresh. The scent is passionfruit and green tea so it also smells amazing.

I couldn't leave the store without looking at the magazines and I was so excited to see that the April issues were already on the newsstands so I picked up my monthly Harper's Bazaar (forever my favourite magazine) and I just about squealed when I saw the Kimye Vogue in the flesh. If you know me, you know that I love anything to do with the Kardashians and I've been a fan of Kanye for years... Kimye just makes me so happy I can't even begin to describe it.

Out of habit I went to check out the CDs, I couldn't really find anything I needed and I accidentally took a wrong turn... I ended up in the section with seasons of television shows. I saw that The OC season one was only ten dollars and I snatched that up so quickly and put it in my cart. I really couldn't believe it, I have seasons two through four and I paid 20-25 a pop for them. The only season I don't own is the first (aka the best season) and I'm so happy that it is now in my possession. The OC will forever be one of my favourite shows.

I was going to make a video about all of this, but I'm still really camera shy... as weird as that sounds. Maybe someday I'll face that fear and make one, but today is clearly not that day. Overall I'm super happy with my purchases and most importantly, with the prices that I paid for them. And I reeeallllyy can't wait to test out those brushes!!
